What are they for?

Drones have become a lot more popular in recent years due to the ability to get another angle on filming. Particularly with action sports and adventure films where the landscape in context is especially beautiful. Drones offer the ability to follow the subjects and show them in the terrain. Since the availability of aerial photography and Google Earth, people are used to seeing images of landscape from above but filming with a drone gives more control over what to capture.
